Cooperative partnership

BIMour matters

We have successfully contributed our experience from day-to-day planning with BIM to a cooperation we have entered into with Nova Ava Building IT GmbH.

Together with the Nova Ava team, we have further developed the construction software of the same name and improved important AVA functions with our practical experience. Nova Ava BIM is a software that links the 3D BIM model with the dimensions of scheduling and costs to create 5D modelling.

We have been using the new features for a good six months and are now taking stock: the input has really paid off!

New features that make our everyday planning work easier

  • Use positions and structures as a “copy source”, also from other cost plans, not only from bills of quantities.
  • Retrieve non-model-specific data in the DBD-BIM database by catalogue, e.g. building site facilities
  • Link cost elements to components with DBD-BIM key; also enables subsequent updating of the linked data
  • When merging partial cost plans, comments are transferred to an overall cost planning
  • If several cost elements are linked to one component, all contents of this cost element are displayed in a list
  • The active price region is observed and specifically saved in each cost planning and in each bill of quantities
