NewsWe have settled in well!

Five years in new office premises

Our two-storey office is located on the k32 site in Bad Cannstatt in the former reception building of the Rössler & Weißenberger company, which used to be based here. The production facilities and administration buildings in the industrial park on Krefelder Strasse are a design by Stuttgart-based architect Rolf Gutbrod and were built in the 1950s.

Five years ago, we gutted the front building, respecting the existing structure, and converted it individually to suit our needs.

Newly cut in openings in the floor slabs create voids that link the two levels and afford views in and out over the entire length of the office. Generous skylights allow light to reach the ground floor — openness and transparency were particularly important to us. Workspaces with plenty of air alternate with places that promote teamwork and places where people can get together. The central Agora seating stairs invite people to exchange ideas and are just as popular as the long table in front of the kitchenette.

A few corners of the office have evolved in everyday life — for example, during the corona pandemic, we realised that the heavily used coffee machine should be placed in a central location, with plenty of space around it. The coffee machine was moved to the open gallery, and now comfortable lounge chairs invite everyone to take a break.

We have settled in very well and enjoy coming together in our bright office space!
