The current issue of Deutsche BauZeitschrift in June is dedicated to the topic of ‘Glass’, and we are the issue partner.
For the in-depth coverage of the individual issues, the editorial team invites selected architects to contribute their own points of view to the editorial elaboration as issue partners. Markus Hammes and Nils Krause, together with Katja Reich and Benedikt Kraft, have selected remarkable glass architecture projects for this issue and brought four current projects into the discourse.
(…) As always, the conversation with our magazine partners, this time hammeskrause architekten, which we had the opportunity to conduct on a beautiful spring day in their light and airy office in Stuttgart, was enriching. Markus Hammes and Nils Krause enthusiastically got engaged in an exchange with us on the subject of glass. You can read their thoughts in the Standpunkt (p. 22). Much of this is also reflected in the selected projects. In the office’s own ‘BMF’ project in Lübeck, the focus is primarily on transparency, both externally and internally (p. 24).
