It was about time for another office excursion to bond as a team and gather new inspiration! We took our time – our team went on a four-day discovery tour in Venice. Our colleagues on parental leave were also invited to join us with their little ones. Here’s a brief recap:
Thursday was reserved for visiting the exhibition at the Arsenale, and on Friday, we split into smaller groups to explore the national pavilions in the Giardini. On Friday evening, we all gathered in the courtyard of our beautiful hostel COMBO for a Mediterranean dinner. It was a pleasant summer evening with delicious food and many great conversations. Later on, a DJ played some tunes, and we ended the night on the dancefloor with Spitz Select. For Saturday and Sunday, some of our colleagues had prepared six different tours, ranging from Scarpa and Chipperfield to Sauerbruch Hutton in Mestre, to classic sites like St. Mark’s Square and the San Michele Cemetery Island. Filled with many new impressions, we returned to Stuttgart on Sunday evening aboard the Night Jet couchette.
What do we take away from this excursion? The unique atmosphere – its essence lingers, and we are thrilled to have again grown closer as a team!
