Design concept
- The two Lehmann Institutes are to become one ensemble. The Digital Plaza extends between them. It is characterised by a high, far-reaching, outdoor sojourn quality.
- Two apparently 4-storey buildings, staggered by one storey in accordance with the course of the terrain, connected by a plinth storey, are positioned at an angle to each other.
- A glass hall connects the two buildings and provides an attractive space for the central exhibition and communication areas of the centre on three floors.
- An elegant façade, based on a tried and tested design, reflects the special, dynamic and agile spirit of digitalisation with its materiality and construction.
