The LUBW extension is divided into a laboratory building and a comb-like office building. The architectural theme of the existing building is formally expanded and systemically supplemented to form a new ensemble.

To handle resources responsibly, that is, to reclaim materials from the product cycle and feed them back to a new cycle, is the clear-cut objective of the researchers at the IWKS.
