At LAB SAMPLE 2022 on 14 October, Markus Hammes addresses the following topic: “Demand and Space” shall show the development and the partial paradigm shift in space requirements planning and in the subsequent spatial design. Buzzwords such as NEW WORK and ACTIVITY-BASED WORKING have made their way into the design of current research buildings. Examples are used to illustrate how this process can be designed and what the architectural/spatial implementation can look like.
