NewsLaying of the Foundation Stone for ZAQuant

New high-precision laboratories

The new physics area comprising the ZAQuant Centre for Applied Quantum Technology and the new physics building represents the new landmark of the research infrastructure at the University of Stuttgart.

On 12 November 2018, the foundation stone was laid for the new building comprising a high-precision laboratory and an office wing. ZAQuant will provide high-precision laboratories, clean rooms, laser laboratories, physical, chemical and biochemical laboratories, offices and communication areas. Around 70 scientists from 15 working groups will benefit from excellent conditions for basic research and teaching.
