The award ceremony for the DEA – Design Educates Awards 2021 took place on 30 September as part of the architektur im foyer event at the Solarlux Campus in Melle. We were also present and personally accepted the Honorable Mention in architectural design for our school cafeteria on behalf of the team.
The Design Educates Awards recognize, showcase, and promote globally the best educational ideas and implementations of architecture and design. An esteemed panel of judges looks for an additional benefit with long-term implications that takes into account the increasing complexity of our lives, both now and in the future.
Many thanks to Dr. Peter Kuczia, architect and initiator of the worldwide DEA – Design Educates Awards, and to the non-profit Laka Foundation for organising this important international architecture award. And a big thank you to Solarlux, partner and sponsor of the DEA Awards, for an event with outstanding speakers who enriched the evening with their inspiring lectures.
