The February issue of the DBZ features a review in the News I Books section about three publications from different architectural offices. Benedikt Kraft also reviewed our book setting off, participating, thinking ahead, which was published by Birkhäuser Verlag in 2020.
The individually designed, cloth-bound book works with different types, different paper qualities and paper formats. It is not easy to read in a linear fashion (…).
The photos of the projects (research buildings) on glossy paper, the texts interspersed. Texts by the editors, a longer conversation with the architects, guest contributions on specific topics such as colour or general ones about life and the future. You can read and look, get absorbed or just browse. A catalogue raisonné (selected buildings) concludes the book.
