Our largest project in our own city is taking shape!
Last Thursday, the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Physics Building at the University of Stuttgart took place. Following intensive planning, the construction phase on the Vaihingen campus is now officially underway. We are very excited. The new building, with approximately 20,000 m² of floor space, combines state-of-the-art laboratories, lecture halls, and research areas across two buildings. It is being realized in line with the energy and climate protection concept of the state of Baden-Württemberg—sustainable, efficient, and future-proof. We would like to thank Vermögen und Bau Baden-Württemberg, the University Building Authority of Stuttgart and Hohenheim—as well as the users at the University of Stuttgart, the Department of Physics, and, of course, all the planners involved for their long-term and consistent collaboration.
