The German Association of Building Greening (BUUG) has chosen the \u201cGreen Roof of the Year\u201d and the winner is the accessible green roof of the Max Planck Institute for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter in Hamburg. Extensive roof gardens set new standards on around 2,440 m\u00b2 and create special sojourn qualities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Together with <a href=\"https:\/\/l-plus.de\/\">Landschaftsarchitektur+<\/a> we are deighted about this award \u2013\u00a0 many thanks for the always enriching collaboration!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The staggered levels of the roof garden are connected via ramps and stairs. A public path leading across the green roof makes it possible to cross the campus on the east-west axis. Along the meandering paths, various seating areas provide a retreat and green place to linger for researchers and students.
