Congratulations to our team on winning 1st prize in the competition for the new building for the Helmholtz Quantum Center+ and this great achievement. Congratulations to Vega P\u00e9rez-Lozao and Jonathan Arkless and Astrid Karr!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The new Helmholtz Quantum Center+ at the site of Forschungszentrum J\u00fclich is the constructional start and the attractive prelude of a deeply rooted research centre for the development of future-oriented quantum computing, scientifically fuelled by the <em>Quantum Quarter <\/em>that is newly defining itself as a part of Forschungszentrum J\u00fclich. The new building reflects the desired division into its various institutes, which is reflected in the architecture. And yet, in the focal point of its three buildings, it creates an inner centre that is enlivened exclusively by the interdisciplinary, communicative interaction of all the scientists themselves.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Great joy!
