NewsWhat changes have been caused by the pandemic?

A conversation with Markus Hammes

The pandemic that broke out in 2020 acts as an accelerator of trends that have long been underway. This also has consequences for the construction and real estate industry and thus also for the architectural profession. In ARCHITEKTUR-BAROMETER 30 x 10 – GROHE Digital Talks, 30 renowned personalities from the German architectural community give their views on 10 questions each, among them Markus Hammes. The interviews focus on the assessment of the effects on our building culture, our cities and specifically on building typologies.

Despite the increasing digitalisation and the many virtual conferences, they still have the urge to work together face to face in order to develop innovations.
